Web Quest

Along with Jessica Sandy, I created a webquest based on Natural Disasters. The students are working for the WV Natural Disaster Infromation Squad and have been asked to research natural disasters and what to do in the event one strikes.

This was an enjoyable expereince and something I hope to use again in the future. I think it is important to integrate as much technology as possible into the everyday learning experience.

Assesment Rubric

Over the course of the year in my third grade classroom, I have made several rubrics to assess my students' work. I just recently created a rubric to grade my students' oral presentations of their state reports. The students had a great time working on their first ever report!! It was so much fun to watch their excitement....

Movie Maker

I decided to create my movie using pictures that my husband and I have taken since I have been pregnant. This is a memory that I will have forever - watching my belly grow and the process of creating our first child's room
It was not difficult at all using Movie Maker. I definitely foresee myself using this in the future, especially after the little one gets here.
